Snow White Hijabified

Just for fun! Take the fairytale's elements of red bow, apple, and bird into tho the accesories, while keeping the basic canary and deep blue colors as a base-- and have a dreamy time.

Ruby and Cobalt Hijabified

A tall and thin woman like "Miranda" can wear lots of ruffles. A more petite woman might want to keep the ruffles to a minimum. Either way, balance the flowery ruffling with sleek and bold accessories.

Runway Houndstooth

Use a turtleneck for coverage instead of a jacket in order to keep the detail of the sleeves and bubble shape at the bottom of the dress visible. Substitute long skirt for the leggings. Add bow detail to jewelry to substitute for the bow on the hat. Try a black silk scarf to keep the run-way sleekness.

Orange Green Abstract

I'm luvin this green and orange combo with abstract print scarf and textured croc bag. Lose the waist belt and take the size up for a looser fit. I think it's stylish and more modest to wear a scarf on the head plus another one to drape over the chest. If only I were really this stylish in person!

Eye Candy

What girl doesn't want to be a princess--or at least dress up like one sometimes? If you're lucky enough to have an occassion to go cinderella glam, then don't forget your diamonds and fab shoes! Inspired by my little daughters, it's all just for fun.

Pink it Up

Flower motifs do not always have to be matronly. Just take this Gossip Girl look and stretch it out into sleek, feminine, pink, flower power. To tone it down, add a beige cardigan or jacket.

Hijabified: Yellow Navy

Inspired by this Yellow and Navy Marc Jacobs, bring it down and around. Lose the belt and take its black lines into a handbag.

Hijabified: White Gold

Take this polished white and gold look into a mid-thigh jacket with wide leg suit pants. Add the touch of gold to really shine.

Hijabified--SJP

Just because an outfit is not hijabified, doesn't mean we can't use it to inspire us. I've taken the green floral theme of this SJP outfit and used some imagination to style it. Instead of using a studded waist cinching belt, I've taken the black and metal theme into a studded clutch. And since an Eiffel tower shaped bag is over-the-top, I've chosen a delicate Eiffel tower charm to dangle on a chain. For a dramatic look, mix and match patterns from head to toe, just like SJP does. For a more practical, subdued look--choose one piece with a pattern and leave the rest solid. Opt for a wedge instead of a stilleto. Bonjour!

Hijabified

Look stylish even when you just casually throw some pieces together. Get Jessica Biel's look for less cost and more modesty! Wear longer tunics with a basic white jean. Use a heel to add some height. Mix and match your scarves with patterns on basic white.

Sport the quirky look for a brisk walk downtown. Dress up the casual tee and jeans with a velvet jacket and a hood & scarf piece. Don't forget the hip but comfy walking shoes. Pair funky colors with unique cuts all while staying warm and cool at the same time. Wear an amira hijab cap under the hood for extra coverage.

Out to the Opera

I love the cut of this dress, so elegant. Bold colors, Bold patterns. If you're not so bold, accessorize only in the solid purple of the dress.

Use two scarves, one to wrap around the chest, and one to cover the head. Use a long sleeved body suit for extra arm and chest coverage. If using a scarf with a pattern, keep accessories to a minimum. The taller you are, the more you can get away with--lucky girl!

Hijabified

Get Katie Holmes' style for less cost and more modesty! This white turtleneck is much longer so it will cover the backside. Take the navy skirt into a longer navy pant for more coverage. Add similar accessories and of course, the all important scarf in navy to match the pants and shoes. Choose pants and shoes in the same color to create the illusion of length (perfect for us petite gals).
